Jockey T Wolfgram advised that the mare was reluctant to stretch out on what he felt was a firm surface today and felt short in its action over the concluding stages. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to be lame in the off-foreleg. Connections were advised they would be required to obtain a veterinary clearance for the mare prior to it next racing.
