Approaching the 1000m, momentarily steadied to avoid the heels of MANDO ROCK which shifted in. Jockey N Callow reported that the mare travelled only fairly in the early stages and a s a result settled further back than he anticipated. Jockey Callow went on to state that when asked to quicken near the 600m the mare only responded for a short distance and in his opinion was disappointing over the final 200m. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.
