As the start was effected reared slightly and began awkwardly, losing ground. After racing in a rearward position when placed under pressure in the early part of the home straight failed to respond and weakened to finish a distant last. A post race veterinary examination revealed the horse to be suffering from cardiac arrhythmia. A swab sample was taken. Trainer M. Costa was advised the horse must undergo an ECG, with the results to be forwarded to stewards, including a veterinary clearance, and that the horse must trial satisfactorily prior to its next race start.
