When asked to comment on the seemingly disappointing performance apprentice K Wilson-Taylor stated the mare travelled well but when placed under pressure failed to respond. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. Co trainer T Edmonds indicated that in light of today’s performance it may be their intention to retire the mare from racing.
