When asked to comment on the below market expectation performance of the gelding, App. Z Sprie advised that the gelding raced flat today, however beyond this was unable to explain the performance. A post-race Veterinary examination of the gelding revealed some minor muscle soreness across the hindquarters however no other abnormalities were detected.
