Rider R Maloney reported the horse was inclined to lay in throughout the event and near the 1400m shifted in and contacted the running rail. A post-race veterinary examination revealed signs of heat stress. A post-race swab sample was taken from HARVESTA. Trainer M Costa advised the gelding would now be spelled.
