Near the 1200m hung out across the heels of REDHEADS ROCK and had to be steadied. When asked to comment on the performance rider M Du Plessis advised the horse had a tendency to hang out at various stages of the event and could offer no other explanation for the disappointing performance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

Trainer B Jones was advised the horse would be stood down for a period of 3 months and must gallop satisfactorily over 1000m in the presence of a Steward under AR79(4) prior to its next start.
