When asked to comment on the performance rider J Orman stated the horse did not travel comfortably today on the poly surface and when placed under pressure was disappointing. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

Over-raced and proved difficult to settle in the early and middle stages of the event. A post-race veterinary examination of the horse revealed symptoms of heat stress. Rider M Hellyer was reprimanded under AR211 for returning to scale overweight. In assessing penalty Stewards considered M Hellyer’s excellent record under this rule.
