When quest, Rdr explained asked to come out neutral on filly & settle behind speed, as at previous starts, had raced too keen early-said filly was fractious in gates, began awkwardly & settled at rear-said did not wish to apply too much pressure early, as concerned it may again over race-added mount inclined to lay out round h/turn, however, once balanced, finished off well. Notified ride early was of concern & would be expected in similar situations to apply more pressure in early & middle stages to ensure mounts placed in competitive position.
