Began awkwardly. Keen early. Brushed near 300m. Near 200m, steadied when tight. When quest re ride, Rdr stated hoped to take up either a leading position or just off the leader depending on tempo early but was mindful mare being 1st up on heavy track-said elected to sit outside of lead in early & middle stages expecting that gelding to run a stronger tempo & when winner went around field quickly after 800m, mount was left flat footed-said although mare received some tightening in straight, its run had finished-added on reflection, it would have been best to lead & set own tempo. Vet no abs.
