Rider J Byrne reported that his mount became awkward in its action after passing the 400m and as a result he did not test the horse over the concluding stages. Post-race vet examination revealed no significant abnormality. J Byne returned to scale in excess of 1/2kg overweight as this was jockey Bryne’s first offence for a significant period stewards issued a reprimand under AR211(1)
