When asked to comment on the performance of the gelding, jockey R Wiggins reported that the gelding travelled strongly during the early and middle stages however when asked to quicken in the home straight, had a tendency to hang in and proved difficult to ride out particularly over the final 100m. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. A swab sample was taken. A warning was issued against the geldings racing manners.
