Jockey R Fradd advised that the mare travelled comfortably in the run in a worse than midfield position as per its customary racing pattern however when asked to quicken in the home straight the mare responded for only a short distance and peaked on its run passing the 100m. Jockey Fradd added that as the mare was only second up from a lengthy spell in today’s event, it would derive a significant fitness benefit from today’s event.
