When questioned in relation to the disappointing performance Jockey R Fradd advised that the colt travelled comfortably during the event, however from a point near the 600m, commenced to hang out and in the home straight failed to run on proving very disappointing. Co Trainer Trent Edmonds was at a loss to explain the disappointing performance of the colt which he advised that continued to train on well following its last start victory. A post race Veterinary examination revealed it to have a minor laceration to its cheek
