Began awkwardly. Caught wide early before progressing forward to race outside the leader leaving the 1200m. Weakened noticeably from the 800m, and in the home straight, eased down, finishing a considerable distance last. A post-race vet exam revealed cardiac arrythmia. Tnr advised gelding would require a vet clearance, inclusive of ECG results & would also require a cardiac auscultation performed by a Veterinarian following a gallop/jumpout/trial of 1000m to satisfaction of Stewards prior to next racing.
