Slow to begin. When asked to comment on the performance of the filly, jockey J Stanley reported that the filly travelled well during the early and middle stages, however, was reluctant to race through the kickback from the 500m and as a result ran on only fairly in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the filly to have been galloped on the offside foreleg and to be coughing, however no other abnormalities were detected.
