Severely blundered on jumping, almost dislodging Rdr. Over raced early. Raced wide throughout. When quest Rdr stated gelding blundered similarly 2 starts ago at Canterbury, adding after losing considerable ground at start, elected to pressure mount to obtain a more forward position, mount failed to respond & was disappointing. A post-race vet exam revealed a minor laceration to its right jawline. Tnr Rep advised gelding to be spelled immediately. Requires a satisfactory official trial prior to resuming.
