Approaching the 1200m when the pace slackened, restrained after improving onto heels and continued to be restrained off heels for a short distance after. Laid in on entering the home straight and near the 300m became awkwardly placed on heels. When asked about performance, Rdr reported mount over-raced early and proved difficult to settle, particularly approaching the 1200m.
