Held up for clear run from 500m until near 250m. Improved onto heels & steadied near 150m before being disappointed for run near 50m & went to w/post not fully tested. When asked about perform, Rdr said gelding was 1st up after 4 week break & told to be midfield with cover-added reluctant to pressure horse near 1200m to take field up to leaders as was mindful of instructs & felt detrimental to finishing effort to pressure gelding at that point-further said did not expect SIR LEONIDAS, which improved to outside near 1200m, to then shift down to rail near 1000m. PRVE no abs. Lost n/fore plate.
