Bumped at start & unbalanced. When asked re tactics, Rdr instructs were gelding can be difficult to ride, have begin well & settle in favourable position. Tnr confirmed instructs. When asked if there was opportunity to shift wider & trail to go forward after 700m, Rdr said gelding may have not have finished race off if did so at that point-added nearing h/turn, attempting to get trail however, when that horse failed to quicken as anticipated, then elected to shift very wide to secure clear run. Rdr said relaxed near 60m as misjudged w/post as vision obscured by afternoon sun. PRVE no abs.
