Very slow to begin and trailed the field before being retired from the event. Jockey Marnu Potgieter reported that he felt something was amiss with the mare. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Connections were advised that the mare would be stood down from racing until the completion of a satisfactory trial.
