Laid out rounding the home turn hampering BONGANI which was taken wider on the track. A post-race veterinary examination revealed RAINING RICHES to have bled from both nostrils for the first time and to also have sustained a laceration to the near hind leg. Trainer G Richardson was advised the horse would be stood down from racing under AR79(4) for 3 months and must gallop 1000m in the presence of a Steward prior to its next race or trial start.
