Began awkwardly. Held up from round home turn until the 150m, where Rdr elected to shift wider to secure clear running. When questioned re tactics adopted, in particular when a run presented between runners approaching the 150m & elected to shift to the outside of heels, Rdr reported instructions were, if possible, find clear running in the home straight, as mare appreciates racing room. Tnr confirmed instructions & added with addition of winkers, thought it would appreciate racing room & was satisfied when mare was shifted wider. Explanation noted.
