Raced wide for the majority of the event. Jumped out at the start and bumped ISLA’S DAY. On pulling up ORONOCO shied away from a section of dry clippings which a gust of wind blew onto the track dislodging rider J Lloyd resulting in the horse galloping some distance, breaking through the outside fence, and exiting the racecourse precinct. ORONOCO was returned to the track and treated by the on-course veterinary surgeon for numerous abrasions to both front and hind legs.
