When asked to comment on the performance jockey Byrne stated the filly travelled comfortably in a position outside the lead for the majority, however when placed under pressure after passing the 400m, failed to respond and in his opinion, may not have handled todays conditions. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
