When asked to comment on the performance of the gelding, jockey A Allen reported that the gelding raced greenly during the event and as it was only having its third start in a race today it would derive a significant benefit from the race experience of today’s event. Jockey Allen added that he advised trainer P Duncan that in his opinion the gelding would also benefit from the addition of blinkers to its gear. Trainer P Duncan advised that the gelding would now be sent for a spell. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.
