A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding had bled from both nostrils. Trainer J Bellamy was advised that as this was the first occasion in which the gelding had bled, it would now incur a 3 month ban from racing and further would be required to gallop 1000m in the presence of stewards prior to next racing.
