Post-race veterinary examination of the gelding which weakened noticeably in the home straight revealed it to be suffering from Cardiac Arrythmia. Trainer M Caltabiano was advised that prior to the gelding next racing, he would be required to obtain a veterinary certificate for the horse including the results of an ECG. Further the gelding will be required to officially barrier trial to the satisfaction of stewards prior to next racing.
