Poor performance. Rider reported that although the gelding had previous heavy track from, the gelding travelled well initially however when placed under pressure failed to respond and was disappointing. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

Raced three-wide without cover throughout. Laid outwards making the turn in the straight. Eased down in the straight. Poor performance. Rider reported that the mare failed to handle the heavy 9 track conditions. A post-race veterinary examination. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to be lame in the off fore, poor post-race recovery, and a laceration on the mare’s off hock. Veterinary clearance required prior to next race start.
