When asked to comment on the performance, rider M Hellyer reported after over-racing in the middle stages, WOWIT’S WILLYWONKA settled comfortably from that point, however did not quicken as expected when placed under pressure in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
