When quest re tactics, Rdr reported instructed be positive as both Rdr & Tnr thought race lacked genuine tempo-said after beginning well, was able to cross & lead passing w/post on 1st occasion, but after jumping crossing at 1800m, commenced to over race & while attempting to restrain, gelding fought & established sizeable gap on field-added for short distance after 1200m, mount began to respond & come settled but at a point after 1000m, again began to over race & from that point, commenced to weaken. Sample taken. Inquiry adjourned.
