When quest, Rdr stated with fast early speed of runners drawn inside, elected from the wide gate to come back and find cover on gelding, which was having its first race start-added from this point on, was obliged to place the gelding under pressure for the majority of the race, and consequently ran to the line well-said in hindsight, it would have been better to apply more pressure early to maintain a more forward position, although slightly wider, to allow gelding to be better placed in the run.

Raced keen early. Commenced a three wide run from passing the 600m. When quest, Rdr explained gelding was racing with blinkers off, with the hope it would settle better than when it raced at Kilcoy on 2/1/25-added shortly after leaving the gates when racing tight, elected to steady and consequently settle further back than wished- further added in hindsight, it may have been preferable at that point in that race, to hold that position, which would have allowed mount to then improve to race closer to the speed.
