Fractious in the barrier, underwent a veterinary examination and cleared to race. Caught wide and was restrained back to obtain a position closed to the rail near the 900m. As a result, raced further back than anticipated. Apprentice Cornish stated that after not being able to obtain a forward position the mare did not respond when placed under pressure and failed to run on.
