Trainers S Hardy and R Bowen were both severely reprimanded pursuant to AR101(a) in that horses under their care were stabled at locations other than their registered stable addresses. COBBLE – Bumped shortly after the start. Performed below market expectations. Jockey L Dempsey advised that his mount had raced greenly during the event. ALBION SQUARE (GB) – Bumped on jumping. Laid out rounding the home turn. Bumped and tightened for room when attempting a doubtful run near the 250m. App C Krahneen, in the presence of senior rider S Collet, concurred with Stewards in attempting to improve into a run where there was insufficient room to do so and agreed a better option would have been to restrain her mount, which was laying out, and shift to the outside to obtain clear running. Jockey Fazackerleys license to ride in races was subsequently suspended for a period of 8-days to commence 9 February up to and including 16 February 2025. In considering the matter Stewards noted that CHARGED had become awkwardly placed to the inside of BASILS GIFT prior to the incident occurring when attempting to obtain a position with cover which compounded the interference to a minor extent, as well as Jockey Fazackerleys guilty plea, his record and the degree of carelessness which was deemed to be in the mid-range.
