GENERAL-
 
Jockey J Worley was fined $200 for accepting rides in races 2 and 5 when overweight.
 
RACE 1: B&R WEBSTER/REARDONS FARMS BENCHMARK 55 HANDICAP – 1200M
SHE’S A KICKER – Declared a late scratching at 11:30 on vets advice after injuring itself whilst being transported to the track.
 
YEEZY- Bumped at the start. Improved onto heels near the 200m, and was shifted to the outside to secure clear running.
 
THE INTERN- Tightening for room at the start and lost ground.
 
SNAKE ATTACK- Tightened for room at the start.
 
D’LAST ZA- Bumped at the start.
 
REVERSE LOGIC- Began awkwardly and shifted in, bumping another runner.
 
STRIDE OF PRIDE – Raced three wide without cover throughout.
 
MIGHTY ROLLER- As there was no other rider available, Jockey D McMaster was permitted to ride 3kg overweight. Raced wide throughout.
 
DAISY PEARL- Raced wide throughout.
 
RACE 2: LANDMARK OPEN HANDICAP – 1200M
 
ARTIE’S SHORE- Slow to begin. Improved onto heels near the 200m, before being shifted to the outside to secure clear running.
 
TRACK FLASH- Slow to begin.
 
ZIP TO THE MOON- Raced 3 wide without cover throughout.
 
RACE 3: TITAN AG TALWOOD CUP BENCHMARK 60 HANDICAP - 1650M
 
BAROQUE GIRL- Slow to begin.
 
KIRA’S BEAT- Sustained a laceration to the off fore leg during the event.
 
GID UP STROP- Began awkwardly. Raced wide throughout. Tightened for room near the 600m when MENDELSSOHN (D McMaster) shifted in. D McMaster was advised to exercise more care.
 
DOUBLE EAGLE- Placed in restricted room passing the winning post on the first occasion.
 
MENDELSSOHN- Raced 4 wide without cover during the early and middle stages.
 
 
RACE 4: MCGREGOR GOURLAY CLASS B HANDICAP – 1400M
 
SHE’S WILD- J Worley was permitted to ride 2kg overweight as there was no other rider available.
 
BACKUP BILLY- Raced wide during the early and middle stages.
 
SPECIAL THING- Bumped at the start. Raced wide throughout.
 
CLOWN IN THE MOON- Began awkwardly. Laid in throughout.
 
PANORAMA- Hung out throughout the event.
 
MARINE CORPS- Rider reported that the gelding was reluctant to stretch out through the kick back during the early and middle stages.
 
ZA’S KINGDOM- Following the poor performance trainer S McEwan advised she will now review the horses racing future.
 
 
RACE 5: MCGEGOR DIESEL QTIS MAIDEN PLATE  - 1000M
 
DOUBLE JOHN- Following the disappointing performance, Trainer J Thomas advised that the gelding will now be retired.
 
MI INSTINCT- Began awkwardly.
 
TOY- Raced wide throughout and laid out in the home straight.
 
SUPREME SPIRIT- Raced keenly during the early and middle stages. A post- race veterinary inspection revealed the mare to have sustained an injury to the off fore tendon. Trainer S McEwan was advised she will be required to obtain a Veterinary Certificate for the mare prior to it next racing.
