On Friday the 24th of January Stewards concluded an inquiry after trainer Brian Terry entered a plea of not guilty and was fined the sum of $200.00 in respect of a charge issued pursuant to Greyhounds Australasia Rule 76(7) as a result of the greyhound Mr Mister being scratched from race 12 at the Rockhampton Greyhound Racing Club on the 22nd of January 2025 for a reason which, in the opinion of the Stewards, was unacceptable.
On Tuesday morning the 28th of January following the Rockhampton greyhound meeting on Monday night the 27th of January Tommy Tuna was found to be sore in the left foreleg and a follow up will be conducted.

Untamed Size – A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards inquired into the actions of the greyhound in the home straight and after considering the submissions from trainer S Scott, the available replays and their own observations the provisions of GAR124(1) were invoked against Untamed Size for failing to pursue the lure with due commitment by shifting out and turning its head outwards in the home straight and deviating its attention away from the lure. The greyhound has been stood down for 28 days and until the completion of a satisfactory trial for a first offence. |

He’s Clegane – Faulted in its action leaving the back straight and took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a right hind leg injury and was stood down from racing for 60 days and will need to perform a veterinary clearance trial prior to racing.
Blue Rex – Checked leaving the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a neck muscle strain and was stood down from racing for 5 days. |
