Race 1 - HIGGINS COATING PTY LTD MAIDEN HEAT 1 MAIDEN 2 520m |

2 Giverny – On numerous occasions turned its head to the outside runner through the back turn and to the inside runner in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside forelimb and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days. Steward’s spoke to trainer S.Ellis regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 125 Failing to pursue by reason of injury – 7 days stand down Ipswich and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
3 Kerb Stone Cool – Checked and fell entering the home straight taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. |

4 Karma Chaos – Shifted in soon after the start. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside hindlimb and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. Stewards spoke to trainer K.Davies regarding the greyhounds’ actions. Stewards noted the explanation.
8 Barefoot Betty – Checked and fell through the first turn taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside hindlimb and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 14 days.

8 Blue Art – Turned its head to the outside taking its attention away from the lure through the back turn. Turned its head to the outside runner and made muzzle contact in the home straight. Stewards spoke to trainer R.Ayres regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 123 Marring – 28 days stand down at Ipswich and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
