4 Hopeful Lana – Shortly after the start was dragged down. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a graze on the nearside hindleg calf. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 7 days.

 

7 Sarah Starfish - Entering the first turn was checked off heels and fell. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant injury.

5 Brute Banner – Stewards spoke to trainer H Gill regarding the greyhounds actions in the catching pen. Acting under the provisions of GAR 131 Stewards advised trainer H Gill the greyhound will now require two catchers at future events.

 

8 Pretty Baby – Fell in catching pen. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant injury.

 

Race 9 - A CUT ABOVE TREE LOPPING 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 GRADE 5 331m

8 Beautify – Entering the first turn was checked. Through the first turn gave ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside groin. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 7 days.
