Gympie Turf Club meeting abandoned

The Gympie Turf Club non-TAB meeting on Saturday, March 5 has been abandoned due to the state of the track.

Substantial damage to the racetrack from the rainfall over the past week has made the track unsuitable for racing.

As a result, additional races have been added to the Bundaberg Race Club meeting on Saturday, March 12. The races are:

• Class B Hcp - 850m - $8,500; and
• Benchmark 45 Hcp - 1212m - $8,500.

Nominations for the meeting close at 11am on Tuesday, March 8.
