Doomben Cup Day - 2021 TAB Queensland Winter Racing Carnival

The Group 1 Doomben Cup is a time-honoured race and that tradition is set to continue in 2021.

Over the years, the honour roll includes legendary names such as Bernborough, Rough Habit and Might and Power.

In addition to the $700,000 weight-for-age feature, Doomben Cup Day will also stage a further five black-type races including the Group 2 Magic Millions The Roses and the Group 3 Pam O’Neill.

In what promises to be a must-see affair, the darling of New Zealand turf, Melody Belle, is set to enjoy her swansong at Doomben as she chases a record-extending 15^th Group 1 before commencing her new career as a broodmare.
