Racing Queensland confirms that the Cairns Jockey Club race meeting today, Friday, April 22, has been abandoned following a track inspection by QRIC Stewards this morning.
Participants with engagements at the race meeting have been advised of the abandonment via SMS.
As a consequence of the abandonment, RQ will give consideration to potential replacement programming opportunities in the region within the next week.
