Dawson Jockey Club (Taroom) Saturday 9 January - ABANDONED

The Dawson Jockey Club (at Taroom) non-TAB race meeting scheduled for Saturday 9 January 2021 has been abandoned due to weather/state of the track.

Approximately 10mm of rainfall has been recorded at the Taroom track since Thursday,  making the track unsuitable for racing.

This race meeting was a replacement for the Boxing Day race meeting, which was also abandoned due to weather.

However the race club will conduct a phantom “betting” meeting with all facilities available on-course on Saturday.

RQ will liaise with the Dawson Jockey Club in regards to future options to conduct a replacement race meeting.
