The IONA College raceday scheduled by the Brisbane RC at Doomben racecourse on Saturday 13 October has been ABANDONED due to weather/state of the track.
Continuing rainfall today resulted in QRIC stewards declaring the course unsuitable for racing due to surface water in certain sections of the track.
However, the Brisbane RC will conduct a “phantom” betting meeting at Doomben with all facilities available.
RQ will consider potential programming alternative in the coming days.
