Weather update for Non-TAB meetings

With heavy rainfall forecast across the state this week, below is an update on non-TAB race meetings being conducted this weekend.

Saturday, May 14

• Bundaberg RC: 20mm rainfall over the last few days. Rain forecast for remainder of week. Track inspection later this week.
• Hughenden RC: Following 40mm rain overnight, this meeting has been rescheduled to Mount Isa RC due to state of track. Nominations for the Mount Isa meeting now close at 11am, Wednesday, May 11.
• Jandowae RC: Following 30mm rain past 24 hours, this meeting has been abandoned due to the state of the track.  A non-Tab race replacement meeting is now scheduled for Chinchilla on Saturday May 28 featuring a Battle of the Bush Qualifier.
• Mareeba TC: A further 1mm of rainfall overnight. Further rain/thunderstorms forecast over the next 48 hours.
• Quilpie DRC: Following 20mm rain overnight, this meeting has been abandoned due to state of track. Meeting rescheduled to Sunday, May 29 with same program.

Sunday, May 15

Longreach JC: Following 35mm since Monday, this meeting has been abandoned due to the state of the track. No options to reschedule to other CW tracks due to widespread rain.
