RQ revises COVID-19 protocols

Racing Queensland has made further revisions to its COVID-19 protocols as per the updated Addendum..

Following today’s Queensland Government announcement extending the SEQ lockdown until Sunday, August 8, RQ advises:

• Essential Racing Personnel are required to wear face masks at all times in Core Racing Areas at all race meetings across the state;
• Access to Core Racing Areas across the state is restricted to Essential Racing Personnel only. For the sake of clarity, this excludes owners; and
• All participants are reminded to monitor the Queensland Government exposure venues which is updated regularly. If exposure occurs, a 14-day stand down period from racing/training venues - and stables – is required.
