Racing Queensland confirms that following consultation with Ipswich Turf Club, there has been a change made to the distance of one of the races at the club’s race meeting on Friday 26 July.
The amended detail pertaining to the affected race is as follows:
Class 4 Handicap $21k
Was 1666m, is now 1500m
The change has been made to facilitate a brief recovery period for a section of the track coming out of the 1666m chute.
