Approaching the 850m, Apprentice Moffat decided to steady and shift in, to a position behind the leaders. Apprentice Moffat stated that in his opinion the decision to settle behind the leaders proved detrimental to the gelding`s performance as MASTER DRUMER resented the sand kickback from today`s racing surface.
