A post-race veterinary examination of the filly did not reveal any abnormality. Stable representative was told that the filly which was beaten 83L would be required to barrier trial to the Steward's satisfaction prior to being permitted to race again. Since trialled satisfactorily.

Slow to begin. When quest re perf rdr stated mount travelled only fairly in the e&m stages and did not feel comfortably around the tight turning circuit. Rdr stated when leaders commenced to improve leaving 600m he encouraged mount to improve with them however was hesitant to place it under full pressure appreciating the manner in which it had travelled to that point. Rdr stated he placed mount under full pressure leaving the 500m however it failed to let down strongly & was disapp in run to the line. P/R vet exam revealed no ab's.

Hung in on several occasions over the concluding stages resulting in Borgov, Adaminaby and Mersey Girl being checked and placed in restricted room. A warning was issued to the connections of Mission House regarding racing manners for hanging in. Jockey D. Smith was also reprimanded under the provisions of AR131(a) in that he did not completely stop riding his mount and straighten Mission House in this incident.
