Stood flat footed as the start was effected and lost significant ground. Trainer B. Robinson was advised a warning would be placed on the mare as a result.

Raced keenly in the early stages. Laid in under pressure in the home straight. When questioned regarding the apparent improved performance, rider stated that the mare had benefited from being down in class in the event. He further added that in the previous starts he had ridden the mare, she had proven one-paced, and his opinion, benefitted from stepping up in distance.
