Rider stated the gelding travelled well in the early stages, however, came under pressure approaching the 500m, and proved disappointing. He further added the gelding felt awkward in its action. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a poor post-race recovery. Trainer was advised a veterinary clearance would be required prior to racing again.
